After the successful delivery of Ambassadors first vessel Ambience the AMI Team were awarded a significant package of work across the vessel which involved Design of numerous areas and refurbishment of venues to create a sympathetic brand feel.
The vessel was used in Glasgow as a floating hotel for Ukrainian Refugees and the team sailed to Bremerhaven (Lloyd Werf) where the vessel underwent the refit.
At its peak there were over 65 men and women aboard of many trades, this included joiners, decorators, floor layers, tilers, upholsterers, polishers, electricians, silicone technician, HVAC Technicians, Plumbers window treatment and saw the team carry out the following work – all signed off to high standard and compliant to RINA standards.
Design and Turnkey fitout of the following spaces.
- Purple Turtle wine bar.
- Bronte Library.
- Aces and Eights Card room.
- Graffiti Street – arts and crafts.
- Lupino’s outside café.
- Photo Gallery and Partnership lounge.
- Full build of 6 new crew cabins – taken from the original wellness space.
- Additional crew cabins converted from PAX cabins (Ambassador have a high crew to passenger ratio)
In addition, the team worked in the following spaces;
- The palladium
- Future cruises
- Destination experiences
- Saffron Restaurant
- Clifton Lounge.
- Conversion of power sockets to every cabin aboard the vessel and alteration to the shower socket in the cabin WCs.
